Homestead gives back

When you build a home with Homestead,
we make a donation in your name to one of the organizations highlighted below.

Shepherd's Little Sheep

Shepherd’s Little Sheep understands the importance of supporting families facing tragedies in local children’s hospitals. They create blessing bags in hopes to bring families a glimpse of joy during difficult times. The bags contain helpful items, including but not limited to, phone chargers, gas and food gift cards, journals, coffee, insulated cups, blankets, simple distractions, and self-care items.

Duke Children's

Duke Children’s is a premier world-class pediatric healthcare institution providing compassionate care in a child-centered environment. As a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals they provide critical resources for researching pediatric conditions and discovering novel treatments for children.

Hope Reins

Hope Reins pairs kids in crisis with rescued horses and mentors to find hope and healing. A child experiencing an acute crisis needs the foundational elements of a healthy relationship: safety and trust. Through establishing a safe and caring relationship, a person of faith and a rescued horse can help the child begin the process of healing.

Foundation of Hope

The Foundation’s mission is to conquer mental illness by investing in groundbreaking scientific research and mental health initiatives. In partnership with UNC, they focus on understanding the root causes of, and potential treatments for, mental illness. They are also committed to raising awareness and supporting effective treatment programs.

Brooks Elementary Foundation

The Brooks Foundation is a nonprofit whose mission – the sole purpose – is to fund additional teachers, support staff, and programs at Brooks that are not funded by the county and state.
